Govt gives tax exemption to Dhurmus Suntali Foundation

Kathmandu, June 21: The government has decided to give a tax exemption to the Dhurmus Suntali Foundation which should pay the tax after transfer of the houses owned by the Giranchaur Integrated Model Settlement and Tourism Promotion Project.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held in Singha Durbar on Tuesday evening took the decision to this effect, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma said after the Cabinet meeting. 

Similarly, the Cabinet meeting decided to form a team for the joint re-establishment of border marker pillar (53) 1 at Tatopani- Zhangmu along the Nepal-China border point, said Minister Sharma.

“It has been decided that Dhurmus Suntali Foundation will be given a tax exemption that was due when the house property owned by Giranchaur Integrated Model Settlement and Tourism Promotion was handed over.” 

Minister Sharma said that there was a discussion in the Council of Ministers about the further management of the disaster response and preparedness.
