JSP decides not to pass the budget as it stands

Kathmandu june 22 : The component of the ruling coalition, the Janata Samajwadi Party, has stated that the presented budget has ignored many sectors and cannot be passed as it is.

Chairman Upendra Yadav, addressing a press conference on Thursday, stated that improvements in the budget are necessary. In the current budget, no discussions have been held with the parties that are part of the coalition. The Madhes region and others have been neglected. It needs to be rectified, the budget cannot be passed as it stands, said Chairman Yadav, adding that the budget is not fair.

He also commented on the matter of not including the party led by Baburam Bhattarai in the Samajwadi Alliance. Yadav expressed that Bhattarai is a person who prefers to work alone. We haven’t sidelined Bhattarai, nor have we left him out. We have never seen him in the alliance; Yadav said that Bhattarai always works alone. So, everything is as it should be. It’s not about bringing everyone together; it’s about bringing together those who are brought together.

Yadav’s stance is that the parties involved in the alliance should not be seen as one party but should understand it as cooperation in certain issues.
