Govt is trying to arrest those who are seeking to overthrow the PM residence : PM Prachanda

Kathmandu June 28 : Prime Minister Prachanda has stated that those who are involved in searching for the Prime Minister’s residence are being apprehended, and he seeks cooperation to catch other fraudsters. In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Members of Parliament raised questions in the scheduled budget for the offices of the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and others.

In response, Prime Minister Prachanda expressed his determination to fight against the distortions and ensure good governance by saying that he has been apprehending those who have been searching for the Prime Minister’s residence since yesterday.

The Prime Minister mentioned that he is ready to pay any price in the fight against distortions. He stated that the priority of the governance government is to maintain democracy. He said, “I feel the need for even more support from the Parliament and the public in the fight to clean up distortions that have been going on for years. This battle will continue to advance against distortions based on any value.”

Prime Minister Prachanda expressed confidence in the people’s trust in his ability to rectify the distortions along with democracy. He stated that the government will become stronger and move forward in this regard.

He mentioned that the government has successfully conducted investigations into fake Bhutanese refugee cases. He emphasized that high-ranking officials are accountable beyond the law. He said, “The investigation into fake Bhutanese refugee cases is the largest investigation conducted by the government. This successful investigation establishes not only the supremacy of the law but also the establishment of democracy. Solving problems that are seen within democracy also lies within democracy. The belief that there is a class above high-ranking officials and the country is a wrong pessimistic notion.”

The government also mentioned its commitment to the flow and purification of democracy’s service. He stated that the campaign for good governance will not be weakened. He said, “I want to gain the trust of the parliament and the general public from this rostrum itself. This purification will not be hindered. It will continue to advance. Lalita Niwas, where the Prime Minister’s residence is located, has apprehended accused involved in meter bypassing and cooperatives. Even if there are concrete allegations against other criminals, parliamentary colleagues have urged to take action.”
