Kathmandu, July 13 : Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda has postponed all his government, political, and diplomatic activities and meetings until July 15. Due to the mourning of the late Mrs. Sita Dahal, Prime Minister Prachanda has suspended all his scheduled programs for four days.
According to the press advisor to the Prime Minister, Gobind Acharya, apart from paying tribute and expressing condolences to the mourners in Baluwatar, no other programs have been scheduled. “He had a general conversation with those who came to Baluwatar, and this morning he had discussions with the general public,” Acharya said. “However, all other political and diplomatic activities have been postponed until July 15, and the Prime Minister will not go to Singh Durbar during these days.”
The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has informed that those who wish to express their condolences can meet Prime Minister Prachanda in Baluwatar from 8 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 6 pm until July 14. Prime Minister Prachanda’s wife, Sita Dahal, passed away at the age of 69 on Wednesday. Along with Prachanda, their two daughters Renu and Ganga had lit the funeral pyre at the Pashupati Aryaghat.
