PM residence pays tribute to Sita Dahal, staying in mourning for three days (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu, July 14 : Various political party leaders, chief diplomats, and representatives of diplomatic missions, including the Chief of Political Appointments, paid homage to Sita Dahal, the wife of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, at PM residence Baluwatar. They expressed their condolences with floral tributes in the picture of Sita Dahal.

The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has informed that personalities from various fields visited Baluwatar from 8 AM to 11 AM in yesterday morning and from 4 PM to 6 PM in the evening to offer condolences and pay tribute to Sita Dahal, who passed away on Wednesday.

Sher Bahadur Deuba, the President of the Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister, and Madhav Kumar Nepal, the Chairperson of the Unified Socialist Party and former Prime Minister, along with leaders from various other parties, visited Baluwatar and offered floral tributes to the late Sita Dahal in a picture.

Key representatives and officials of diplomatic missions, including the Korean Ambassador to Nepal Yi Yong Park, the Secretary-General of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Esala Shravan Virakun, the Russian Ambassador to Nepal Alexey Novikov, the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Sang, and ambassadors from Bangladesh, Israel, Sri Lanka, Finland, and North Korea, also visited Baluwatar and paid homage to the late Sita.

The Prime Minister’s Office had set specific timings from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM yesterday and today for expressing condolences.
