PM’s China visit in September’s 4th week: FM Saud

Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud has revealed that preparations are underway for Prime Minister Prachanda’s visit to China. He stated that the Prime Minister’s visit is scheduled for either the third or fourth week of September.

Saud also emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining friendly relations with neighboring countries like Japan, the United States, and the European Union. He highlighted the government’s efforts to strengthen bilateral ties based on mutual benefits.

Addressing the inauguration of the Consular Service Department’s online consular certification program on Sunday, Minister Saud stated that the government is committed to promoting national pride and unity in foreign relations.

He also pointed out that there has been progress in maintaining a balanced approach in foreign relations, compared to past imbalances. Minister Saud discussed the need to streamline the bureaucratic process for biometric works within a government office, as the current procedure is time-consuming and costly.

He stated, “We are clear about our foreign policy. The government is moving forward in promoting relations based on national pride, unity, and development with mutual benefits in international relations. We aim to solidify our national pride, unity, and ties with neighboring countries, which will propel us forward. It’s not about party politics but working together towards the same goal.”

Minister Saud mentioned that the government is working on streamlining the bureaucratic process for biometric works within a government office.
