Kathmandu: A meeting has taken place between the Foreign Minister NP Saud and American Senator Chris Holland. The Ministry has informed that bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the United States and Nepal was discussed during the meeting.
Senator Holland, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, arrived in Kathmandu on Friday. According to the embassy, he has a program to meet government officials, youth leaders, parliamentarians, and entrepreneurs during his visit.
The American Embassy has informed that in the course of his visit, he intends to strengthen American-Nepali political and business relations and hold programs with government officials, youth leaders, parliamentarians, and entrepreneurs.
“We are delighted to welcome Senator Chris Holland, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, to Nepal,” said the embassy. “In the course of his visit, he intends to further strengthen American-Nepali political and business relations and shed light on American assistance in Nepal’s health and education sectors.”
