Butwal : CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has no right to give the territory of the country.
Addressing the Lumbini Province convention on Saturday, former Prime Minister Oli, along with other leaders, stated that the right to hand over even an inch of land to India for going to Bangladesh has not been given to Prime Minister Prachanda.
“He (Prachanda) is going to Bangladesh following the agreement reached under BIMSTEC. And when he goes to Bangladesh, the territorial dispute will be raised. Who has the right to give you land? It is the patriotic property of the Nepali people. Therefore, Nepal’s territory is intact. Our country will not even give away an inch of land to anyone. Even if such leaders become prime ministers,” Ali said.
Chairman Oli also sarcastically mentioned that Prime Minister Prachanda did not utter a single word about the EPG report with India and wondered why he went to raise the territorial issue. “Why didn’t he speak about the EPG report? It’s funny. And now, when others should be sending the peacock’s feathers, he’s wearing a leopard’s cloth and roaring. Wearing a leopard’s cloth, but roaring like a peacock,” Oli said.
