200 health workers mobilized in quake-affected areas

Jajarkot, Nov 6: Two hundred doctors and health workers have been deployed in the earthquake-affected area. 

All seven rural municipalities of the village have joined hands in facilitating the treatment of the denizens who were injured in the earthquake that struck Jajarkot as its epicentre at 11: 47 p.m. on Friday.  

Krishna Bahadur Khatri, Focal Person at the Jajarkot District Hospital, Khalanga said that a team of health workers with medicines from hospitals of Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Kathmandu, Dang districts and other hospitals along with Nepal Army Institute of Health Sciences, consultant doctors of Armed Police Force have reached in remote villages of all seven rural municipalities. 

A team of Narayan Subedi Coordinator of the Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC), Karnali Province reached the epicentre Ramidada with a  team of doctors and counsellors and have started providing medical treatment to the injured of Shilpachaur, Ramidada Barekot Rural Municipality-1.

In Ramidada, Barekot Rural Municipality-1, Jajarkot, people have been forced to live under the open sky due to a lack of relief in the area.
