Mahendranagar (Dhanusha), Dec 15: A minor has been forcefully raped and then killed in the Kushmaha, Sabala Municipality-9, Dhanusha. 

Ranjan Awale, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), District Police Office, Dhanusha, said that an underage girl was killed by asphyxiation by neck compression after the rape.  

According to him, it was found that the minor was killed and thrown into a pit. After receiving information about the disappearance of a girl, the police said that the search operation was underway during which a lifeless body was discovered. 

The lifeless body was found in a ditch one kilometer away from the house of the deceased which is located at Sabala Municipality-9 at 9 PM on Thursday. 

Further investigation after the arrest of the two males involved in the incident is underway. The search operation was started when the girl did not return home till late at night from the marriage ceremony of a neighbor.
