‘Organizational and manpower’s restructure is necessary for IT development’

Kathmandu, Jan 24: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma said that there is a need to restructure organization and manpower for the development of information and technology in each sector of the country. 

In a discussion program about the subjects that need to be included in the 16th Fifth Year Plan with ministries and agencies under ministries, Minister Sharma stressed that there is a need for restructuring to build skilled manpower and tenacious agencies for the implementation of the digital Nepal framework. 

Minister Sharma requested all to participate in capacity building by re-constructing the organizational structure in agencies under ministries and re-structuring the manpower at the social mediums. She also pointed out to re-vamp the organizational structure and Information Technology Authority as information and technology are rising in all sectors and are a must in today’s world.  

She said that success cannot be achieved by working aloof, therefore, leaders of agencies under ministries need to join hands joyously as well. 

Ram Krishna Subedi, Secretary of the Ministry for Communication and Information Technology, directed agencies under ministries to include every aspect saying that the 16th Fifth Year Plan is a tool for the transformation of the nation for five years.  There was a participation of high ministry officials, chiefs of the agencies and other officials.
