Gulmi, Mar. 5: More than 3,000 people have received services at the free mass health camp organised in Ishma Rural Municipality, Gulmi.
A total of 3,187 persons, including 2032 women, took service in the camp organised by Ishma Rural Municipality and Sushil Koirala Memorial Foundation and in technical support from Kathmandu Medical College.
Of them, 150 were diagnosed with mental and drug diseases, 510 were found suffering from bone and nerve diseases, 115 with skin and sexual diseases, 120 with ear, nose and throat problems, 87 with dental diseases and 350 with heart diseases. Likewise, 120 underwent examinations, 266 received laboratory services, 318 received video X-ray service, 122 Echo and 123 ECG services.
Citizens of Ishma Rural Municipality, Malika Rural Municipality, Dhurkot Rural Municipality, Musikot Municipality and Resunga Municipality received services in the camp.
Kathmandu Medical College is going to conduct free surgeries on 109 patients with various diseases by March 11, and the rural municipality will facilitate the free surgeries.
