HoR Business Advisory Committee meets prior to parliament meeting

Kathmandu, March 13: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), Business Advisory Committee has commenced. The meeting is called by Speaker Devraj Ghimire in connection with the vote of confidence that the Prime Minister is seeking in parliament today and to discuss the time-table of the lower house for the next 15 days.    


Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is taking a vote of confidence in the meeting of the HoR today after the change on March 4 in the ruling coalition.    
The Committee is meeting to decide on the process of the vote of confidence and the parliament’s business in the coming 15 days. 

   
Newly-appointed Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, Deputy Speaker Indira Rana and the Chief Whips and Whips of various parties representing in parliament are in attendance in the meeting. (RSS)
