Kathmandu, May 16: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has said that media should play role to make global agenda for the problems facing by Nepal due to climate change.

Addressing a programme organised by the Sancharika Samuha on the occasion of the World Press Freedom Day Minister Sharme made the remarks.

She said that Climate Change has been turned as a huge challenge. It affects Himalayan region the most. Nepal is the highly vulnerable to the climate change.

“Though the first direct problem is being faced by Nepal climate change is the common problem of the whole region so Nepali and world media should play role to establish these issue to the global level.” She said.
