UML draws govt’s attention not to take serious decisions

Kathmandu, July 4: CPN (UML) has drawn the attention of the government not to take any serious decision that will have a long-term impact.

Issuing a press release UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel said that at a time when the major two parties UML and Nepali Congress agreed to form a new government, there was no chance of winning a vote of confidence by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

The release read, “So the government which already reduced to a minority, UML draws the attention of the PM Prachanda not to take any decision that will have a long-term effect. Along with this it again requests to participate and help form a national consensus government.”

It also mentioned in the press release that the current ruling coalition’s major party UML had already withdrawn support to the government and all ministers from UML had resigned.
