Kathmandu, July 26: The monetary policy 2024/25 has stated that a limit of margin type of loan of Rs 200 million will be ended. 

The monetary policy stated that a limit of the margin type of loan against the collateral of shares from a single financial institution or all institutions will be removed.

It added that challenges are arising in managing of margin trading. 

The NRB has provided approval of margin trading to 34 stock broker companies with the motive to reduced direct leding of banks and financial institutions in stock market.
