Kathmandu, Aug.21: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that many industries that increase production with small capital should be established and expanded.
Addressing the Start UP Nation 2030 program on Wednesday, PM Oli said that youth and women can find employment and income opportunities in the country without going abroad for work with new innovative and creative thinking.
PM Oli stressed expanding youth entrepreneurship to replace imports with domestic production, reduce poverty, increase self-reliance, and achieve sustainable development goals.
Urging that the bank give loans to such entrepreneurs based on projects rather than holding assets, he said that the government will continue to promote the cooperative even though some foil elements are trying to discredit the cooperative.
PM Oli said, “We have to increase entrepreneurship based on technology, skills and capital so that the entire country can see the results of the production. Any start with government investment should not fail. It should be taken as a campaign. The government will not reduce the facilitation to the private sector for the prosperity of the country. We did not come to the government just for the sake of being flag bearers. I did not want to become PM at this age, but still, I bear the responsibility to do something.
