Won’t do anything that harms Nepal’s image: PM Oli

Kathmandu, Sept 16: The National Assembly (NA) today endorsed the proposal to discuss amendments to the Public Service Broadcasting Bill (PSB)-2077 BS recommended by the House of Representatives.     

The upper house received the Bill back from the HoR with the proposed amendments.     

Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, tabled the proposal during the meeting.     

Taking part in deliberations, Padam Bahadur Pariyar suggested that the Bill should more clearly define the role of radio.     

Additionally, Minister Gurung, on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, presented the annual report of the Muslim Commission for the fiscal year 2079-80 BS (2022-23) during the session.(RSS)
