Leader Prachanda pledges to work for change

Hetauda (Makawanpur), Nov 10: Former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said that it is convenient for the party to reach among the people now as it is outside the government.     

In his address to a press meet organized by the Press Centre, Makawanpur today, the leader pledged to make corrections regarding the party’s ‘some weaknesses’ and to move ahead in a stronger manner for the cause of change.     

He utilized the time to stress the need to change the existing electrical system to what he said end the corruption prevalent in the country. “For this, we advocate for a directly elected executive.”     

He also said the party will be launching a campaign aiming to reach the citizens.     

On a different note, he viewed that investigation against the alleged misappropriation of cooperate funds should go impartially. He also expressed his discontent over the government’s performance.(RSS)
