Kathmandu, Nov. 25: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has made it clear that no agreement on loan will be made during his official visit to China starting from December 2 this time.
At a discussion with the former Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers with regard to his upcoming China visit, PM Oli mentioned that the BRI was not a loan-related project and that it was not an issue of dispute whether or not we take loan from China.
“We take loan or grant on the basis of our national interests as and when we need from any country or agency. We should not be swayed by the baseless rumour that loan is being taken to entrap the country. We have a long and friendly relation with China. I am visiting China to make the friendship further dynamic,” said PM Oli.
