Kathmandu, Nov 5: Sudur Paschim Royals registered its second victory in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) defeating Kathmandu Gurkhas by 73 runs on Thursday at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
Following a target of 168 runs Kathmandu became all out scoring just 94 runs in 15.5 overs.
To snatch the match from Kathmandu, Sudur Paschim’s Naren Saud took five wickets alone, Abinash Bohara took two wickets whereas Brandon McMullen and Saif Zaib took a single wicket each.
Kathmandu’s Stephen Eskinazi scored 37 runs, Sumit Maharjan 14, Bhim Sharki and Gerhard Erasmus scored 10 runs each, Pratik Shrestha 8, Michael Levitt 5, Shankar Rana 3, Rashid Khan 2 and, Nathan Sowter, Shahab Alam and Karan KC scored a single run each.
Earlier, Batting first Sudur Paschim prepared a 168-run target for Kathmandu in a loss of 6 wickets.
