Kathmandu, Dec 8: Janakpur Bolts defeated Lumbini Lions by 1 run in a thriller match in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Sunday at the Tribhuvan University
International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
This is Janakpur’s fourth consecutive victory in NPL.
Janakpur stopped Lumbini in 135 runs in 20 overs to snatch the win. Lumbini made 135 runs losing 8 wickets.
To give his team a sensational win, Janakpur’s bowler Harsh Thaker took five wickets alone. Lalit Rajbanshi, Sher Malla, and Kishore Mahato each took a single wicket.
Lumbini Captain Rohit Paudel scored 35 runs, Tom Moores 31 runs, Arjun Saud 28 runs and Sundeep Jora hit 16 runs. Other batsmen failed to score runs in double digits.
