Baitadi, Jan.3: The Sudurpaschim Provincial Qualifier of the Prime Minister Cup Women’s T20 Cricket Tournament has started from today at the Dasharathchand Cricket Ground in Sundarkhali, Baitadi. The tournament will run from 3 to 9 Janaury .

According to Anil Kumar Bista, Secretary of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association, all preparations to lead matches in the stadium have been completed.

Baitadi and Achham in Group B will face each other and Doti and Bajhang will play the next match following the inauguration ceremony.

Baitadi District Cricket Association President Binod Bahadur Chand said that the matches will be played on two newly constructed turf pitches at the Dasharathchand Cricket Ground, supported by the Cricket Association of Nepal.

He mentioned that playing on turf pitches will help players prepare for higher-level competitions.
