Kathmandu, Jan 3: Chair of CPN (Maoist Centre) and the former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” said there is a need for unity among all sides to work for social justice, good governance and economic prosperity.
Addressing to a program in Kathmandu today, former PM said he has worked against corruption, social discrimination and good governance irrespective of whether he was in the government or outside the government.
He said, “There is no two opinions in my view to look forward in the favour of good governance, social justice, and economic prosperity. It is true that its useless to condemning each other. There is a necessity for faithfully addressing the corruption issues, question being raised in the assemblies, issues concerned by people. For this, there is a need of building a consensus”.
Chair Prachanda said, “I have worked honestly against corruption, consolidating good governance, against social discrimination, social justice and taking the country out of economic difficulty. I believe that I have acted accordingly what I have spoken and I have been speaking for the same while outside the government”.
Chair Prachanda added that Federation of Nepali Journalist (FNJ) is needed to inform for impartial journalism.
