Kathmandu, Jan 9: The Kaski District Court has ordered to release the former Minister of Home Affairs Rabi Lamichhane from custody on  bail of Rs 6.5 million.

The hearing on whether to continue remand for investigation against seven defendants, including Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Lamichhane in connection with misappropriating the savings amount of Pokhara-based Suryadarshan Cooperative at Kaski District Court, has today culminted into release him on bail.

The Court also ordered to release the former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police, Chabi Lal Joshi on bail of Rs 8.8 million.
