Arson, vandalism, looting in Tinkune area manifests pro-Monarchists’ anarchy: Chairman Prachanda

Kathmandu, Mar. 28: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has termed the arson, looting and vandalism carried out by the pro-monarchy demonstrators in Tinkune area as an extreme form of anarchy.

Addressing the mass assembly organized by the Socialist Front at Bhrikuti Manadap, Chairman Prachanda said that Tinkune today stood witness to pro-royalists’ intention of creating chaos in the country.

He argued that the royalist and regressive forces wanted to turn their demonstration to violence so that some people are killed and thus they could spread terror across the country.

The former Prime Minister stated that the peaceful demonstration of the republican forces and the violent rally of the pro-monarchist have revealed their character, “The royalists want disorder and create chaos.”

Chair Prachanda warned former King Gyanendra of repercussion if he keeps provoking royalist forces to violence. “Gyandendra is at present bearing the punishment of his first mistake, if he commits the second one, he may even not have time to bear the punishment.”
