– Tribhuvan University, Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, has begun preparation to manage quarantine for ENT doctors who had come in contact with COVID-19 positive girl. A six-year-old girl who was admitted to Neuro Surgery Ward was tested positive for COVID-19. With her COVID-19 test result, she is now kept at Ganeshman Building.
Even the contract tracing of those who came in her contact has been intensified, said Prof Dr Prem Krishna Khadga. The girl is an ENT patient. Khadka added that they were consulting Ministry of Health for COVID-19 test of those who had come in contact with the child.
Meanwhile, the Hospital has urged all other medical persons and officials to return on normal job. Now onwards, only emergency surgery would be conducted using PPE compulsorily, it added.
