Kathmandu: A team from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has arrived in Kathmandu. Led by Major General Yuan Endong of the Tibet Commando, an eight-member team has visited Kathmandu.
Upon their arrival in Kathmandu, the team promptly held discussions with the Chief of the Nepali Army, General Prabhuram Sharma.
According to the Military Spokesperson, Brigadier General Krishna Prasad Bhandari, there was a courtesy meeting in the Military Academy, where matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation were discussed.
For the welcome of the Chinese military officers’ team, Sagar Bahadur Thapa, the Deputy Chief of the Nepali Army, was present at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
The Chinese military team is set to visit various military units such as the Command and Staff College, the Military Museum, and other military establishments.
