Kathmandu: The newly appointed British Ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, presented his credentials to President Ramchandra Poudel on Wednesday. He handed over the letter of credence at the Shital Niwas, Presidential Residence.
During the occasion, Ambassador Fenn expressed his commitment to enhancing and strengthening the relations between the two countries, emphasizing collaboration and cooperation between the governments and the people.
The outgoing ambassador, Nicola Pollitt, completed her three-year term and Rob Fenn has assumed the position as the new British Ambassador to Nepal. It may be noted that outgoing ambassador Pollitt was appointed British Ambassador to Nepal in 2019. She served as the first female British Ambassador to Nepal since Nepal and the UK established diplomatic relations in 1816.
