Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal,Prachanda who is also the chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center), inaugurated the ‘Maoist Transformation Campaign’, saying, “There is hope that something can now be achieved among the people.”
Prachanda, along with other leaders including the Prime Minister, emphasized the achievements of the government’s work and how this campaign could make his party the strongest force in the country.
Chairman Dahal inaugurated the “Maoist Transformation Campaign with the People” from the party headquarters in Paris Danda on Saturday morning.
He claimed that the government under his leadership has done excellent work in the history of Nepal and has also transformed the disappointment among the people towards political parties and leadership into hope.
“The blood circulation of hope has been established among the people,” he said, citing incidents such as the Bhutanese refugee scam, Lalita Niwas land scandal, gold smuggling case, and other unbiased investigations and actions that have ignited enthusiasm among the people.
Prachanda and 7,743 participants came together virtually in various parts of the country for this campaign. After the inauguration, at 1 PM, Prime Minister Dahal will participate in the program to be held at Chandragiri-2, Ghatteda Park.
As part of the campaign, the Maoists have announced the formation of self-governing committees through renewal and expansion from central office bearers to inter-district, standing committee members, and central members in all provinces. They have also sent them to temporary residential areas as working areas.
Leaders who have reached their areas are instructed to conduct the campaign in three phases. The campaign will be led by the Commander of the Ward at the local level. According to the work schedule prepared by the concerned ward, slogans and programs defined by the central committee, they will go to every home to reach the people. In the local level, they are given the directive to work with the people by establishing guidelines.
