KATHMANDU: National football team forward Bimal Gharti Magar has also left for Australia on Friday.
Magar, who has been playing as forward of the national football team for more than 10 years, will leave for Australia after staying sometime in Dubai, Goal Nepal. Com said.
Bimal made his international debut in a friendly match against Bangladesh in 2012.
More than 50 football players, who have been playing regularly in the national team, have left for Australia.
Before leaving for Australia, Magar has scrapped the contract with the Lalitpur City FC.
He was preparing to become the marquee player of Lalitpur City FC for the Nepal Super League.
“We have signed Ananta Tamang as the marquee player for the Nepal Super League as Bimal
has decided to leave for Australia,” a representative at the Lalitpur City FC said.
