Kathmandu, Oct.9: A crowd of people, going to their homes for the main festivals Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, in the new bus park to buy advance bus tickets.

As the businessmen opened advance ticket bookings for long-distance buses from today (Monday) for the convenience of passengers, it is found that people are hoarding to buy tickets. 

Many people who reside temporarily in Kathmandu usually go home for the main festival of Hindus of Nepal, Dashain. 

The advance booking of tickets for both long and short routes targeting Dashain, Tihar and Chhath opened on October 9.

A joint meeting of the Traffic Police, department staff, and transport businessmen held at the Department of Transport Management on Friday decided to open advance ticket bookings from October 9.
