Constitution is being attacked: DPM Khadka

Kathmandu, Oct. 13: Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka said that the constitution is being attacked under various pretexts. 

Addressing the second Karnali Province Convention of the Nepal National Magar Association on Friday at Surkhet, Birendranagar, PM Khadka said that the country is in trouble owing to various reasons. 

“There have been attempts to break the spirit of the constitution under various pretexts, we need to be vigilant regarding that. Since there have been signs of attempts to provoke the constitution, Congress needs to be responsible regarding that,” He said.  

DPM Khadka said that denizens have shown dissatisfaction towards Congress due to a change in attitude after getting posts and positions.

He said that it is necessary to improve the behaviour and speech of party leaders and cadres. 

“Our daily activities are recorded in the mobile phones of common people. Voters are examining every step of the leaders and cadres. There is a need for improvement in party and fraternal organizations. We need to correct ourselves,” He said. 

He expressed his belief that this program would convey a message of unity to the general public.
