kathmandu, oct. 17: President Ramchandra Paudel inaugurated the eleventh Non-Resident Nepali World Conference in Kathmandu today.

Addressing the ceremony, President Paudel said that after the political change, the country has entered the stage of economic development. However, due to the long transition period, some challenges have also appeared in the country, he said.

He said that the remittances sent by the sweat of the youths who stayed abroad during foreign employment have now played an important role in the country’s economy. He urged the Nepalis living abroad to take advantage of Nepal’s immense potential for investment.
