Sixty-four UNRWA staff killed in Gaza: Official

Sixty-four employees of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) have been killed in the Gaza Strip so far, an UNRWA official says.

Director of Communications Juliette Touma made the statement on X, while announcing the latest death of a staff, together with his family.

“@UNRWA will never be the same without them RIP,” she said.

• Health professionals and displaced people in Gaza City are experiencing “fear and panic” as a result of Israeli attacks near al-Quds Hospital, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society.
