Nepal’s education should be genuine, international standard: PM Prachanda

Kathmandu, Dec 13: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said it is essential that the education system of Nepal have originality and of international level in line with today’s age. 

Addressing the first phase program for the 29th convocation of Kathmandu University (KU) on Wednesday, PM Prachanda said, “I believe that the way the KU took the lead in such a campaign and gathered an opportunity for policy and practical discussion for higher education reform, it will help not only the universities but also the government to decide the further path of higher education.”

According to PM, professors, scientists and students involved in teaching and learning about climate change and environmental science at KU University are making a significant contribution to the issue. 

PM also stated that he was able to have intensive discussions with national and international bodies at the COP-28 conference, to implement the technical achievement made by this university in energy transition.
