Darchula, Jan 19: As many as  14 people sustained an injury when a bus heading towards Mahendranagar from Darchula met with an accident near the garbage collection center at Kimtadi, Mahakali Municipality-5 around 6 AM on Friday. 

According to the District Police Office, Darchula, a bus of Mahakali Transportation with registration number (001Kha 1031) had left from Khalanga, headquarters of Darchula, at 5:30 AM, but met with a fatal accident in half an hour of commute. 

Police Inspector Gobinda Bhandari at the District Police Office, Darchula said that 14 people including a bus driver have sustained injuries. All the injured are receiving treatment at District Hospital, Darchula. 

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
