Kathmandu, Feb 20: An Indian national has been arrested with 855 grams of gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
A 53-year-old Sharif Ahmad Abdul Gaphur, an Indian national, has been arrested from TU International Airport with 855 grams of old kept in a semisolid state.
According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, Gaphur was traveling via Flydubai from Dubai to Kathmandu on Monday evening. Gold was recovered in the checking at the gate of the arrival tunnel with Ghaffar at the airport.
He has been sent to the customs office for necessary investigation.
