Kathmandu, Apr 1: The police have arrested 15 protestors who were demonstrating in front of the southern gate of Singha Durbar on Monday demanding to save the lives of Nepali who are recruited in the Russian army.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Nabaraj Adhikari, Spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu Protestors staged a demonstration under the lead of Activist of Awareness Campaign Kritu Bhandari in front of Singha Durbar on Monday.
He said, “15 people consisting of 10 males and five females who were demonstrating in front of Singha Durbar have been detained. They are kept at Singha Durbar Police Circle.
They protested demanding the rescue of stranded Nepali serving in the Russian Army, search for those who have lost contact, to bring the body of the deceased back to Nepal. (RSS)
