Lekhnath, June 5: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences (PoAHS) to proceed with the curriculum of MBBS along with the schedule.
Addressing the seventh assembly of the (PoAHS) held on Wednesday, PM Prachanda urged to proceed with the curriculum of MBBS in a planned manner in the upcoming fiscal year.
PM Prachanda expected that after the PoAHS comes to an operation in an orderly manner, it will be a significant achievement in medical education in the academy.
The PM said, “The government expects that the PoAHS will develop as a reliable and strong medical institution in medical study in the country after the operation of post-graduate study in medicine.
The PM expressed his belief that the Academy will play an exemplary role in producing reliable and quality healthcare services and skilled medical personnel for the country as a whole.
According to him, the government has prioritized the development and expansion of PoAHS. The health sector has been prioritized despite having some limitations and pressure in the economy of the country.
The PM has hoped that there will be support from all to make this academy, a pride for the locals of Pokhara, a success.
The PM believed that the Academy will be established as an exemplary educational organization in the whole country in medical education.
The Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences (PoAHS) is regarded as the largest hospital of in the Gandaki region.
