Bangladesh defeats Nepal by 21 runs

Kathmandu, June 17: Bangladesh has defeated Nepal by 21 runs in ICC T-20 cricket World Cup 2024 held in Arnos Vale Ground, St Vincent.

Bangladesh had set a target of 106 runs. Nepal got all out scoring 85 runs in 19.2 overs. 

Shakib AL Hasan scored 17 runs, Mahmudullah and Rishad Hossain scored 13 runs each for Bangladesh. 

Nepal’s bowlers Somapal Kami, Dipendra Singh Airee and Captain Rohit Paudel, Kushal Bhurtel, and Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets each.

For Nepal, Dependra Singh Airee scored 25 runs, Kushal Malla scored 27, and Aasif Sheikh scored 17.

For Bangladesh, Tanzim Hasan Sakib took 4 wickets, Mustafizur Rahman took 3 wickets, Shakib AL Hasan took 2 wickets
