Two dead bodies recovered after Simaltal accident identified

Narayangadh, July 14: The bodies that were recovered on Sunday, involved in the Simaltal accident, have been identified. 

The recovered body has been identified as 40-year-old Sajad Ansari from Bettiah of West Champaran district, of Bihar state India and another as Prakash Thakur from Rautahat. 

The identification was made based on the identity card found on them. The body of Prakash was recovered from Gaindakot and Sajad from Meghauli. 

Thakur was a passenger in a bus Ganapati Deluxe heading to Gaur of Rautahat from Kathmandu which was carrying 41 persons and Sajad,  a businessman in Kalanki, Kathmandu, was a passenger in the next bus on its way to Kathmandu from Birgunj had 24 persons on board. 

Both the buses carrying passengers went missing in the Trishuli River in the landslides at the Simaltal area along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section in the Chitwan district, in the wee hours of July 12.
