Kathmandu, Aug. 24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asked one and all to pin hopes and rely on the government for the nation’s development.
Responding to the queries put forth by youths today on ‘Kathmandu Youth Conclave 2024’, the PM said this government was formed with the firm determination to do something and bring about changes.
PM Oli argued that the country’s development process wouldn’t advance until the youths were aware and viewed that the youth were the entire force for nation-building.
Likewise, Oli expressed his confidence that Nepali migrant workers abroad will return home provided that a favorable environment was created here.
The PM said that his government was making efforts to provide employment opportunities and education to the youths within the country and shared about the government’s plan for startups.
Meanwhile, PM Oli said that spreading vulgarity and social revulsion in Nepali society was not possible as it is an orderly society.
Addressing a special programme organized by CPN (UML) Jhapa-Kathmandu Liaison Forum on the occasion of Teej festival, PM Oli stated that spreading vulgarity was not possible here since Nepali society carries unique arts, culture and civilization.
“We have to spread love to each other, not hatred. We should love the nation, family and oneself,” PM Oli added.
He also observed that the Teej festival deepens affection between brothers and sisters and such important festivals bind Nepali society in a thread.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal, Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hiikmat Karki and others also attended the event.(RSS)
