palgunj, Oct. 21: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that it is natural to arrest and conduct an investigation of the Chairperson of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane, as per the report given by the parliamentary special probe committee.

In an interaction with media personnel at the Nepalgunj Airport on Monday morning, Chair Prachanda said that all other whose name has come up in connection with the cooperative fraud needs to be arrested and investigated properly.

He said that there is a program to submit a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli by the opposition parties including CPN (Maoist Center) covering various contemporary issues. 

He clarified that the opposition party will submit a memorandum to PM Oli covering various demands.

Chairperson Prachanda said that the decision on the case will be made by the court and Lamichhane himself has promised to cooperate and assist in the investigation, therefore, should be taken lightly.

Chairperson Prachanda received a warm welcome from the former Chief Minister of the Karnali Province Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, in charge of the CPN (Maoist) Center) Karnali Province Kali Bahadur Malla, former deputy speaker Purna Kumari Subedi, along with other dignitaries, at the Nepalgunj Airport.
