Nepal ready to play role in global partnership prioritising climate adaptation, sustainability: PM Oli

Kathmandu, Oct.24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has highlighted that Nepal is ready to play its role in global partnership prioritizing climate adaptation and sustainability.

PM Oli said so while addressing a special ceremony held at the Nepali Army headquarters on the occasion of UN Day today.

PM Oli said, “We are confident that the UN’s leadership will continue to guide us forward towards common solutions in addressing the issue of climate change which are essential for the survival of vulnerable nations like ours.  Nepal is sticking to its commitment to the principles of the United Nations (UN) even in this unstable and unclear situation around the world.”

He said that as a part of Nepal’s foreign policy, the principles of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect for sovereignty, and non-interference are always being followed.

PM Oli said that Nepal which lies between two giants adopts the policy of ‘amity with all and enmity with none’.
