Women empowerment necessary: Minister Sudi

Kathmandu, Oct.25:  Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Nawal Kishor Shah Sudi has said that women empowerment is necessary.

While addressing a program organized at Kathmandu on Friday,  Minister Sudi said so. 

He expressed his belief that women can play a role as a strong pillar of development. He said that he is relentless for women’s rights. He showed his commitment to formulate necessary policies for smooth and equal social development for women, and children, and to make it participatory.” 

“Woman empowerment is necessary. I strongly believe that women can play the role of strong pillar of development. I am relentless in women’s rights. Therefore, I express my commitment to formulate necessary policies for smooth and equal social development for women, and children, and to make it participatory.” 

Minister Sudi, “It is necessary to make a significant contribution to women and children empowerment. The hurdles in the way for empowerment need to be highlighted and walk towards its solution.”
