mandu, Nov 18: Nepali Congress has decided to close the party office on Tuesday to mourn the demise of former speaker Daman Nath Dhungana.

an emergency meeting of the party’s Central Working Committee on Monday decided to shut the party office on Tuesday and lower the party flag to half-mast on Monday and Wednesday passing a condolence motion. 

Party General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa said that the emergency meeting has decided to lower the party flag to half-mast on Monday and Tuesday. Similarly, the Party office will remain closed on Tuesday and the meeting also decided to organise a condolence programme till the 13th day of the former speaker’s demise.
