Constitution will be amended after discussing with all political parties: DPM Singh

Rupandehi, Dec.25: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has said that the process of constitutional amendment will move forward only after discussing with all political parties.

Speaking to media persons in Rupandehi on Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Singh said that the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have formed a task force for a constitutional amendment and internal work is underway.

He said, “A working group of Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) has been formed to carry forward the process of constitutional amendment. The working group will have a discussion with all political parties. The process of amending the constitution will move forward after discussing with all the parties.”

DPM Singh laid the foundation stone of the Siyari Tourism Corridor and inaugurated the Dayanagar Danav Lift Irrigation Project Irrigation at Siyari Rural Municipality of Rupandehi on Wednesday.

He expressed his belief that the tourism corridor and lift irrigation project will change the economic situation of the citizens of Siyari Rural Municipality.
