Nepal sets 163-run target for UAE in finals of Tri-Nation T20 International Series

Kathmandu, Oct 27: Nepal has posted a 163-run target for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the finals under the Tri-Nation T20 International Series underway in Kathmandu.

The match is being held at Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.

Losing the toss and batting first, Nepal made 162 runs in the allotted 20 overs losing eight wickets. For Nepal, Kushal Bhurtel hit a half-century off 28 balls with six fours and three sixes.

Similarly, Karan KC made 23 not out off 17 balls. His score included two boundaries and one six.

Dipendra Singh Airee hit 20 off 15 with one six and one four. Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel contributed 18 off 17 with one boundary, Sompal Kami 13, Sandip Jora 10, Aasif Sheikh seven, Gulshan Jha 5 and Kushal Malla one. For UAE, Aayan Afzal Khan took three wickets singlehandedly.

Similarly, Zahoor Khan and Ali Naseer claimed two each, and Junaid Siddique one. The UAE is batting.  (RSS)
