Kathmandu, Nov 24: Police have arrested five people for throwing stones at police during the demonstration led by medical entrepreneur Durga Prasain at local Balkhu on Thursday.     

Those arrested in this connection are Pashupati Khadka, Munendra Rajbhandari, Satish Neupane, Anup Shahi and Avash Khadka, said Senior Superintendent Bhupendra Khattri, the chief of the District Police Range.     

According to SSP Khattri, the five persons have been arrested on the charge of carrying out unruly activities and pelting stones at police during the demonstration organized Thursday by the movement led by Prasain at Balkhu. (RSS)
